The
purpose of this page is to provide the electronic equivalent of a newspaper
containing industry specific hard news. Please submit news items of general
interest to the SMPE members by clicking on the above link. The moderator will
post all items that conform to the following guidelines: 1) The item should
identify the sender, and give credit to the source. 2) The item should be news
of interest to the members, not advertising spam. 3) Personal attacks,
deliberate falsehoods, items of questionable taste will not be posted. 4) The
De-Air-Ator page should be used to post items concerning individual members,
editorials, reviews, and original content by members.
5) News items will be posted after review generally once a day, and will
be deleted in one months time. Although
the moderator will attempt to filter out items not in conformance with the
above, neither the moderator nor the SMPE Inc.
makes any claims as to the accuracy or truth of the postings, that’s
why it is called scuttlebutt! Use or pass on the information at your own risk.
