SMPE Dinner Dance

The goal of the Dinner Dance Committee is to produce a formal dinner dance in the spring of each year, held in New York City and honoring an organization that has had a significant positive effect on the marine industry. This prestigious affair is widely attended by society members and influential marine industry representatives from around the country. In conjunction with this affair a Journal is produced and distributed containing a catalog of industry resources and contacts. The proceeds of the dinner and the journal are used to support the SMPE scholarship loan program and Grant Program . The society has initiated  this  significant new program to further support marine education and the goals of the society. Please join us in making this upcoming event the most influential and enjoyable gathering of the year.

THE 2008 DINNER DANCE  WILL BE ON SATURDAY JUNE 7th, 2008 AT THE 

MARRIOTT FINANCIAL CENTER IN DOWNTOWN NEW YORK CITY.

There will be a limited number of rooms available at a special SMPE discount rate for this event at    $214. 00  for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Make a weekend of it, catch a show, and support NYC! Book early directly with the Hotel at 212 385 4900  by May 16th, first come first serve.
