Experience:  Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning officer aboard the Training Ship Empire State VI. (Summer, 2000)

*       Responsible to the First Assistant Engineer for the operation and maintenance of the ship’s domestic and cargo refrigeration plants, in addition to, the ship’s air conditioning and ventilation systems.  Duties included charging and evacuating of refrigeration lines, monitoring of chill water for air handlers, upkeep of chill and freeze boxes and compressor maintenance and service.

 

Summer Sea Terms 2000, 1998, 1997

*       Duties included standing watch, making log book calculations and entries, and many maintenance and repair projects.

 

Work

Experience:  Russell Plastics Technology Company, Inc. (2001-2002)

     Facilities Engineer: Duties included but not limited to the upkeep, maintenance and repair of 93,710 sqft.           office/plant complex.  Supervisor of a maintenance and janitorial staff, and a foreman for all work performed.  Maintained and upkept all inventory and stock purchasing, as well as dealing with customer relations, and quotations and prices.  Managed all large equipment and installational tasks, as well as improved company grounds and building facility.  Created all preventive maintenance tasks, and designed and innovated new applications for various machinery.

 

Creative Crating, Inc. (1996-2000)

                        Fine arts crating and handling, packing, trucking and installation.

*       Duties included a substantial knowledge of carpentry and the use of power tools and pneumatics.
